In this thesis the analysis data of the psychological causes of death and wounds of the Internal Affairs Body officers when carrying out one's official duties by militiamen are described. The trauma hazardous situations when performing the official duties by militiamen are described. Some conformity with a law and psychological determinants making possible to forecast the predisposition of the Internal Affairs Body officers to the official traumatism are found out. The availability of the post-traumatic stress derangement with the Internal Affairs Body officers who were wounded in the course of the professional activities as well as insufficient rehabilitation and recovery work with them are brought out.

The psychological methods of ensuring the preparation of the Internal Affairs Body officers for firing from the personal weapons as one of the conditions of safety in dangerous situations of the official activities are carried out.

For translating into practice the works of the psychologists of the Internal Affairs Body the system of management of critical incident stress directed to the prophylaxis of traumatism at the Internal Affairs Body, rendering of the psychological service to the officers got wounds was suggested.
