11. Уникання самоприниження.

Самоприниження Сіріуса створює загрозу його «лицю». Він виправдовується за власну вимушену бездіяльність, усі в Ордені розуміють, що від нього мало користі, і його визнання цього факту тільки закріплює цю думку.

'Hasn't anyone told you? This was my parents' house,' said Sirius. 'But I'm the last Black left, so it's mine now. I offered it to Dumbledore for Headquarters - about the only useful thing I've been able to do.'

12. Уникання виправдання.
