In the dissertation the analysis of complete evolution of formation and development of pedagogical education in Central and Eastern Ukraine of the period 1802-1866 has been done. It has been determined its main stages (1802-1811, 1811-1860, 1860-1866). Social and economic preconditions have been revealed and state legislation of the first half of XIX century on matter reglamentation of development of pedagogical education has been analyzed. The subject matter of authorial and governmental projects of organization of pedagogical education in Ukraine of the determined period has been researched. It was done historic methodical analysis of scientific literature and archival sources.
It gave the possibility to reveal, prove and put into practice pecutiarities, main ideas and basic tendencies of development of pedagogical education in Ukraine 1802-1866 in order to determine perspective ways of development of contemporary pedagogical education.
