ethnic consciousness of a person essentially depends on individual peculiarities of election and getting the main activity, and it is one of the determinants of ethnic consciousness formation in youth. On the background of the analyses of ethnic consciousness of young boys and girls such types of notional structure of ethnic consciousness can be picked out: with the advantage of psychological characteristics, with the advantage of composite characteristics, with the advantage of social and demography characteristics, with the advantage of brutal and slang words and phrases.

On the background of study of complex influence of personal interethnic perception, value and notional cognitive personal complexity in the ethnic sphere and notional filling of personal ethnic consciousness there are peculiarities of ethnical identity of a person explored, the level of personal development of ethnic consciousness is denoted. The highest level of personal ethnic consciousness development in youth is denoted by availability of nonstereotypic value ethnic identity by psychological characteristics, the lowest level is denoted by availability of indefinite situative identity with the advantage of brutal and slang words and phrases.

The system of psychological and pedagogical demands to organize the special activity of ethnic consciousness development in youth is worked out. The most important demands are: usage of individually oriented access to explore and form-up ethnic consciousness, usage of real information about history, culture, life of other ethnic groups, organization of special creative activity about the exploration of the World’s ethnic vision.

The formation experience to develop ethnic consciousness in youth was carried out according to the demands. Such important means of the development of ethnic consciousness in youth are substantivated: giving ethnic information and creative activity encouragement. The point of forming-up experience is training procedure “The World’s Ethnic Map”. After revising diagnostical data before and after the experience such changes at the ethnic consciousness of the participants were displayed: reducing the level of stereotypization of interethnic perception, rising of the number of psychological characteristics at the interethnic appraisal, rising of value and notional cognitive complexity in the ethnic sphere.
