The thesis deals with psychological peculiarities of development of communicative competence in future practical psychologists in the domain of education. Elicited were theoretical grounds and presented experimental data proving that effective formation of communicative competence is conditioned on pedagogical management of the process at the stage of professional training of practical psychologists. Such pedagogical management enables increase of a future specialist's awareness of his/her own attitudes in the communication sphere and exposure of available and development of more productive models for cognition of personality of communication partners. It also facilitates mastering of personal reflection on a certain level and development of a student's reflexive attitude to himself/herself as a subject of professional communication, development of capability to differentiate and adequately express his/her feelings and psycho-emotional states in the process of communication. Elaborated and tested was the technique for development of communicative competence in future practical psychologists on professionally acceptable level.
