To increase the assessment efficiency of intellectual abilities of the candidates on a military service under the contract to forecast their professional suitability the development of conditions and factors of optimization of this process has received further development. On the basis of professional and graphic analysis of activity of the experts of armies the “Classification directory of military specialities which are subject to replacement by the military men under the contract with the list psychological and psychophysiological requirements to the experts, who define professional suitability” is developed. The methods of estimation of intellectual abilities that have made a basis of the methodical manuals are developed and introduced into practice of professional psychological selection of the military men by the author of the thesis. The appropriate test batteries, diagnostic scales predictors, borders of the formalized groups of the forecast, mathematical device for making conclusions about professional suitability of the candidates have been submitted in the manuals. The results of the thesis are used while preparation of the projects of the managing documents (orders and instructions) on organization and realization of measures of professional psychological selection of the military experts of Armed Forces; they also are included in the project of the manual “Bases of military professional psychological selection ” and are introduced into educational process at postgraduate courses of medical structure of air defense.
