The manuscript defended reveals the conditions of appearing and development of experimental psychology in our country. The present psychological research the great contributions of N. Lange into the process of distinguishing psychology as the independent separate science. All the trends envisaging further development of experimental psychology, pointed out by the scientist, are summarized and systematized in the investigation. On the basis of one of the mentioned trends, the problem of time perception, all the following experimental researches in the South-Ukrainian region are focused on.

The problem of time perception is still actual. Nowadays it is intensively worked out by D.and also by the investigators under direct guidance. The carried out fundamental and experimental research describes the natural phenomena and the mechanisms of time perception. Besides, the main outcome of time investigation allows to design the models of the time perception process
